The M14 was the main US battle rifle from 1959 until 1967 when it was replaced by the M16.  A version of the M14 (the M21 Sniper Rifle) was the main US Military sniper rifle until 1988.  Versions of this rifle have been used all the way into the various gulf wars, mainly in the sniper roll.   This Engler M14 is based on the Tippmann X7 Phenom which features full auto firepower.
